Director of Photography working across television drama and comedy.
Greg is a London-based Director of Photography working across UK and international television.
Selected work includes: Trying, Maternal, Outrageous, Tell Me Everything, Whitstable Pearl and Motherland.
Greg began his career in the camera department before moving into cinematography, developing a collaborative approach that puts performance, tone and storytelling at the centre of the frame. He enjoys working closely with directors to shape the visual language of a project — whether that means building a distinctive world for a drama series or finding the rhythm and energy of comedy.
Comfortable on both large-scale productions and smaller, more intimate shoots, Greg brings a calm, practical approach to set and works with a trusted crew who enjoy the process as much as the result. His focus is on creating images that support the story and give directors and actors the space to do their best work.
He particularly enjoys the collaborative process of developing a visual language with directors early in prep and carrying that through to the shoot.
Greg is represented by Casarotto Ramsay and Associates.
Greg also operates a DJI Ronin 2 package, which can be used for steadicam-style moving shots as well as mounted as a remote head on dollies, jibs, vehicles and specialist rigs.
This flexibility allows for dynamic camera movement while keeping setups efficient, adding significant production value without the complexity of larger systems. The Ronin 2 package supports most industry-standard cinema cameras, including Sony, ARRI and RED.
